Published in November 2001 by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), this 7-page document details sources of funding for those undertaking research in physiotherapy. It provides an overview of the wide range of organisations funding research, offers advice on successfully submitting an application and lists the different categories of grant. The various routes of Department of Health and NHS funding are explained, as well as regional equivalents in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. There are sections on the type of funding offered by research councils, charitable trusts and organisations, with examples of certain relevant charities, their objectives and awards.
