Prodigy guidance : irritable bowel syndrome

This evidence-based clinical guidance on the management of irritable bowel syndrome is produced by PRODIGY and made available by the NHS funded resource, Clinical Knowledge Summaries (CKS). The guidance is aimed at healthcare professionals working within the NHS in England and it covers different clinical scenarios of irritable bowel syndrome, plus goals and outcome measures, background information, management issues and references. The guidance is available in full, or as a concise summary. A quick reference guide and patient information are provided. This guidance was last revised in 2005 and a revision is planned for 2008.
