Orbital wooden foreign body - a case report
Abstract/OtherAbstract :
The mode of presentation and clinical course of retained orbital wooden foreign body is presented. The outcome was shaped by poverty, ignorance, low socioeconomic status of the patient as well as major deficieinceis in our health care delivery system. There is need to make available to the underprivileged, necessary and life saving drugs and investigative procedures. The need is even more urgen when viewed from the standpoint of children who are totally dependent on parents/society, and have no control over the quality of health care that is sought on their behalf. <BR><BR> <i>Nigerian Journal of Surgical Sciences</i> Vol. 15(2) 2005: 84-86
