Healthguides is a freely available resource for patients developed by the Map of Medicine. Healthguides have been developed by doctors and nurses and they provide in-depth clinical information which is used in the NHS. They aim to provide patients with a “clear understanding of the steps to better manage your health.” The Healthguides are easy to follow care pathways/charts and they currently cover the following conditions: acute asthma, breast cancer, caesarean section, COPD, depression, diabetes, emergency contraception, female contraception, glaucoma, multiple sclerosis, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, prostate cancer, psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis, smoking cessation, term labour, tuberculosis.
