'Management of patients with stroke', is SIGN's 64th guideline, published in November 2002. The Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network (SIGN) develops and publishes evidence-based clinical practice guidelines for use by the health service in Scotland. This 51-page guideline covers an introduction, organisation of services, general rehabilitation principles, specific management and prevention strategies, discharge planning and transfer of care, roles of the multidisciplinary team, patient issues, implementation and audit and development of the guideline.
