This is the home page of the Landscape Management Project, which is a cooperative project between the University of Washington College of Forest Resources (Silviculture Laboratory), Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, and the USDA Forest Service. The project is developing the Landscape Management System (LMS) which is an evolving application designed to assist in landscape level analysis and planning of forest ecosystems by automating the tasks of stand projection, graphical and tabular summarization, stand visualization, and landscape visualization. LMS case studies are described and examples of how the application works. The LMS software and support can be accessed from this site. |
