| EFFECT OF BILE ON THE CLOTTING TIME OF BLOOD | |
Abstract/OtherAbstract
:
|
1. Within certain limits the clotting time of blood, of blood plasma, and of solutions of fibrin to which bile salts have been added, is proportional to the quantity of bile present. 2. The bile interferes with the conversion of fibrinogen into fibrin and not with the formation of thrombin. |
