This is one in a series of tutorials made available on the Web by the Molson Medical Informatics Project, Faculty of Medicine, McGill University. This tutorial on bone metabolism is aimed at medical students and medical lecturers. Developed by McGill medical students under the supervision of the McGill Medical Faculty, this tutorial covers the basic and clinical scientific aspects of disorders of bone and mineral metabolism, normal bone physiology, pathological conditions of bone metabolism, and mineral homeostasis. |
