In 1979, a study was conducted at a 400-bed acute care hospital (name withheld) in an attempt to uncover potential employee problems and provide managers with feedback that could be used to remedy such problems. The author of this article explains the format of the hospital-wide study, and examines specifically how employees and supervisors in the Department of Laboratory Medicine reacted to the project. |
