Who is in your operating theatre?

Abstract/OtherAbstract:
The presence of healthcare industry representatives poses a challenge for operating department managers. The healthcare industry is taken largely on trust, but in an era of clinical governance this is no longer acceptable. Managers need to establish criteria against which competencies can be measured to risk manage the presence of company personnel in theatre and maintain a safe environment for the patient.
