The authors use the total quality management philosophy to address the problem of workplace violence prevention in healthcare organizations. They examine the literature on the scope of violence and the applications of total quality management principles in healthcare organizations. They conclude with guidelines for the design and implementation of violence prevention program within the framework of total quality management. |
