Early electrocardiographic diagnosis of acute coronary ischaemia on the paced electrocardiogram is possible [H. Kilic, E. Atalar, N. Ozer, K. Ovunc, S. Aksoyek, F. Ozmen, R. Akdemir. Int J Cardiol 2008; 130: 14-18.] and could be helpful in an increasing number of elderly patients with pacemakers. A routine storage of paced 12-lead electrocardiogram in cardiac devices memory immediately after the implantation that could be retrieved when needed later could improve acute coronary ischaemia detection. |
