Uterine inversion secondary to a pathological process of the myometrium is very rare. We report the case of a woman presenting with a submucosal pedunculated leiomyoma in whom a study by 3-T magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) demonstrated a uterine inversion. The MRI findings were characteristic and permitted a correct diagnosis before the surgical intervention. |
