Good leaders anticipate the need for change and manage change well. However, the members of an organization generally oppose major change. There are many risks for the people and the group during a period of significant change. It is important that the leader communicates the reasons for the changes, involves as many people as possible in the process, develops a clear plan for implementation, and communicates well with the followers. |
