Testicular torsion.

Testicular torsion is a urological emergency, whereby twisting of the spermatic cord compromises blood flow to the testis.The diagnosis is suspected from a history of sudden onset, severe, incapacitating testicular pain. All patients presenting in this manner must be explored surgically.
