Synthesis of bioreducible and acid labile poly(amido amine)s via Michael-addition reactions and their application in gene delivery.

Abstract/OtherAbstract:
Reducible poly(amido amine)s (HPAAs) with acid labile groups have been prepared via Michael addition polymerization. These PAAs are very sensitive to reducing agents such as dithiothreitol (DTT) and glutathione (GSH), and sensitive to pH. The polymers show good condensing property for DNA and good gene transfection efficiency.
