A 32-year-old with neurofibromatosis type 1 was diagnosed with a left vertebral artery aneurysm of 4 centimeters maximal diameter. A hybrid procedure was conducted associating the exclusion of the origin of the left vertebral artery with a covered stent in the left subclavian artery and a cervical incision for ligation of the vertebral artery to completely exclude the aneurysm and perform the aneurysm resection. The histological findings confirmed the diagnosis of type 1 neurofibromatosis (NF1) with a vascular localization in the aneurysm. The postoperative course was uneventful. The one-year clinical and morphological results were satisfactory.
