Spontaneous intratesticular hemorrhage is an extremely rare entity with few prior reports in the literature. Although intratesticular hemorrhage in the setting of trauma or malignancy is common, spontaneous intratesticular hemorrhage has no identifiable risk factors. The sonographic appearance of spontaneous intratesticular hemorrhage poses a diagnostic dilemma because of its similarity to testicular malignancy. We present 2 cases of spontaneous intratesticular hemorrhage that were confirmed after unilateral orchiectomy and histologic examination. |
