Abstract/OtherAbstract:
Abstract: This article uses analytical findings from fertilizer grade feather meals, imported feather meal from China, and analytical results from domestic feather meal samples to suggest that there is fluoroquinolone recycling in commercial poultry in the US that might result in environmental selection pressure giving rise to fluoroquinolone resistant Campylobacter sps. on farm in the US. The reply letter provides detailed information why this is likely not occurring.
