Abstract/OtherAbstract:

The novel technique to repair a calcified tricuspid aortic valve using reconstruction of the valve cusps with autologous pericardium is described. The technique is based on the fact that in degenerative calcified stenosis of the tricuspid aortic valve, the cusp-free margins remain mostly uncalcified, even in very severe calcification, making the repair feasible. |
