Abstract/OtherAbstract:
A germylyne complex Cp*(CO)(2)W[triple bond, length as m-dash]GeC(SiMe(3))(3) () reacted with alcohols to give simple nucleophilic addition products, while reacted with two molecules of arylaldehydes consecutively to give base-stabilised alkoxy(germylene) complexes via C-H bond activation and hydrogermylation.
