The information presented in this review illustrates the different and potentially important clinical data that are obtainable from currently or soon-to-be-available radionuclide imaging procedures. Each modality has unavoidable intrinsic limitations. Nevertheless, in concert they have been useful in the clinical assessment of patients in the acute or convalescent phase of myocardial infarction.
