With a number of high-profile cases coming to light where physicians apparently put lucrative deals with medical-product companies ahead of patient safety, the time may be nigh for legislation requiring disclosure of these relationships. Eric Campbell, of Harvard's James J. Mongan Institute for Health Policy, says, "The real question is the level and depth of disclosure."
