Abstract  Primary cardiac chondrosarcoma is extremely rare, and its clinical characteristics and management are not clear. Only eight cases of primary cardiac chondrosarcoma in the left heart have been reported in the English literature. In this report, we describe a case of primary chondrosarcoma of the left atrium. The management of these rare tumors is the subject of this report. (J Card Surg 2012;**:1-3).
