In the UK the health service is undergoing radical changes to become more responsive to local needs, consumer feedback and modern medical technology. To keep up with this constantly changing health care environment, nurse resource planning must be flexible and responsive. Below, an outline of some of the information, tools and skills required to formulate nursing resource plans.
