The development of the nonthyroid disease syndrome in acute endotoxicosis involves mechanisms related to polarization of the immune response by the Th1 type. Thyroid status of rats with pronounced and weak polarization of the immune response was evaluated. Morphofunctional changes in the thyroid gland in animals with the central and peripheral mechanisms of the development and regression of the nonthyroid disease syndrome were detected. |
