'Caring for women with medical conditions' is the eighth series of 'Midwifery basics'. Targeted at student midwives, it aims to raise awareness of the needs of these women during pregnancy and beyond. This article considers neurological conditions during pregnancy and birth. Students are encouraged to seek further information through a series of activities relating to this topic.
