In effect, OR managers are teachers. We have an important responsibility to create climates where employees can reach their potentials. We must talk with our employees, encouraging them and recognizing their accomplishments and good work. Don't be afraid to set high expectations. Imagine that all of your employees are "high-potential" individuals.
