Abstract/OtherAbstract:
Being distinctive to succeed in an increasingly competitive market formed an important theme at the recent joint congress of the Society of Practising Veterinary Surgeons and the Veterinary Practice Management Association. The congress, the second held jointly by the two organisations, brought together vets, practice managers and others to discuss and learn more about a wide range of management topics. As reported on page 187 of this issue, it also included a debate on the future of practice.
