Abstract/OtherAbstract:
Electrocardiograms were taken from a 34-year-old woman in whom coronary sinus rhythm alternated with normal sinus rhythm. The electrocardiographic findings demonstrate that in some portions, occurrence of all coronary sinus impulses was protected from the sinus impulses, indicating the presence of coronary sinus parasystole. In other portions, however, the coronary sinus pacemaker was discharged from the sinus impulse as a result of second-degree entrance block. This is the first report on irregular coronary sinus parasystole due to second-degree entrance block.
