Abstract/OtherAbstract:
Without financial planning, healthcare administrators have no way of knowing if their strategies are realistic. Strategic and financial planning must work together at every level of healthcare management, from organization-wide efforts to individual programs. Administrators can use such techniques as product line management, flexible budgeting, and portfolio management to incorporate strategic and financial planning into daily operations.
