Abstract/OtherAbstract:
The treatment of "A" pattern esotropia includes bilateral weakening of the superior oblique muscles, vertical displacement of the horizontal rectus muscles, bilateral or unilateral, and horizontal displacement of the vertical rectus muscles. The cases presented indicate that bilateral inferior oblique advancement is an effective alternative procedure for the management of large "A" pattern esotropia.
