Abstract/OtherAbstract:
The article discusses the current problems faced when applying magnetic resonance imaging to the cerebral hemispheres, and reviews the prospects for improvements in image quality. While this anatomical area does not present any difficulties that are peculiar to the region, it is the advanced techniques, such as diffusion-weighted imaging, functional magnetic resonance imaging and spectroscopy, often applied in the cerebrum that present the real challenges.
