The novel allele HLA-DRB1*09:20 differs from HLA-DRB1*09:01:02 by one nucleotide substitution at codon 9 (AAG->CAG) and differs from HLA-DRB1*09:07 by one nucleotide substitution at codon 13 (TAT->TTT).
