Many foreign students (mainly from Scandinavian countries) come to study medicine to Jessenius Faculty of Medicine, Comenius University, in Martin. From the first weeks after their arrival, they have to learn besides specialized subjects also Slovak. Slovak seems to be a very difficult language to them.
