Abstract Background: Gluten Ataxia is a known cause of sporadic ataxia. Case: We report a patient with imbalance and no abdominal symptoms diagnosed with gluten ataxia. Her neurological symptoms responded to gluten-free diet. Conclusion: Gluten ataxia should be considered in all patients with sporadic ataxia with or without abdominal symptoms, as early diagnosis and treatment may result in neurological improvement.
