Abstract/OtherAbstract:
In this paper, we will look at the development and the current status of the laws in France (and to some extent other EU nations) and the United States. In doing so, many differences will emerge about the views and values of assisted reproductive technology in the two countries. We will try to articulate some of those underlying moral, political, and legal differences.
