This article addresses the history and purpose of the Foundation for Thymic Cancer Research. It discusses the thymic cancer experiences of the founders--the author and his wife Barbara Neibauer--and the role the Foundation plays in providing physical, emotional, and research support to victims of this disease, their families, and their physicians.
