The role of foetal adrenal DHAS in initiation of human parturition was studied by direct estimation of umbilical arterial blood samples and correlated with the oxytocin consumption during induced labour, Author found a closed relation between the above parameters and suggested that foetal adrenal activity might be involved in the initiation of human parturition. |
