Family medicine in the undergraduate curriculum: differing views on where from here?

Academic Family Medicine enjoys a wide range of external support for its involvement in, and contribution to, undergraduate medical education. However, a narrow but important range of opposition exists within many medical schools. The author suggests means by which we might ensure a bright future for academic family medicine within the undergraduate curriculum.
