Effect of Treadmill Exercise on Tricuspid Inflow and Tissue Doppler Velocity of Tricuspid Annulus in Healthy Persons.

Effect of treadmill stress test on tricuspid flow and tissue Doppler imaging of tricuspid annulus were evaluated in 26 healthy persons. Exercise resulted in significant increase in A-wave velocity and significant reduction in E-wave deceleration time and E/A ratio. On tissue Doppler imaging Aa-wave increased significantly with decrease in isovolumic relaxation time and Ea/Aa ratio. (Echocardiography 2012;**:1-4).
