This supplement of the Neuroendocrinology Letters presents papers from the 15th Interdisciplinary Toxicology Conference TOXCON 2010. The Conference with the motto "Borderless Toxicology" was held in the High Tatras, at Stará Lesná - Hotel Academia, Slovakia, from September 6 to 10, 2010. TOXCON 2010 was organized with the support of Visegrad Fund and under the auspices of the Federation of European Toxicology Societies EUROTOX. The meetings of Slovak and Czech toxicologists, which have been materialized since 1996, changed to real international conferences with more than 170 participants from Visegrad countries (Slovakia, Czech Republic and Poland), further from Germany, Austria, Italy, Lithuania, Iran, India and USA. TOXCON 2010 was dedicated to the memory of Prof. Helena Rašková, doyen of Czech and Slovak pharmacology and toxicology. |
