In recent years each edition of HEPATOLOGY has included a viewpoint article written by a member of the Editorial team. This month Dr. Michael Charlton has offered his turn at the microphone to Professor Donald Jensen, from the University of Chicago, in order that he can address a pressing issue that will emerge in tandem with the likely approval by the Food and Drug Administration of boceprevir and/or telaprevir.
