Dissecting aneurysm of the vertebral artery mimicking an acute coronary syndrome: a case report.

Dissection of the vertebral artery is one of the most important causes of stroke in young adults. Electrocardiographic abnormalities are frequently seen in central nervous system events, including subarachnoid hemorrhage, subdural hematomas and ischemic stroke. Herein we report a case of a patient with dissecting aneurysm of the vertebral artery who presented with syncope and electrocardiographic findings of acute coronary syndrome.
