Commentaries on Cochrane reviews form a core part of the content of the Evidence-based Dentistry Journal. Protocols for Cochrane review are published on Cochrane library (www.thecochranelibrary.com) after peer review occasionally reviews are published a short time later but more often it take more than a year for the final review to appear. In this new section of the journal we are planning to list the protocols from the Cochrane Oral Health Group (http://ohg.cochrane.org/) and dentally relevant protocols from other Cochrane Groups on a annual basis.
