Abstract/OtherAbstract:
This paper outlines the clinical advantages of the lingual straight wire technique using the Orapix digital system. With this technique, incisor brackets can be positioned very close to the lingual surfaces thus enabling enhanced three-dimensional control. The elimination of wire bends facilitates space closure and reduces chair time. Combining the high precision available with the system and the use of customized archwires, teeth are moved gradually towards the ideal position as defined on the virtual set-up by each user.
