Abstract/OtherAbstract:
We describe the case of a 19-year-old man, admitted to our emergency area for a 'fascicular' ventricular tachycardia; intravenous infusion of propafenone restored the sinus rhythm, but unmasked a latent Brugada-like ECG pattern; previous ECGs were otherwise normal. Owing to the low-risk profile for both conditions, the patient was not submitted to electrophysiological study; he was discharged with pharmacological recommendations and is closely followed.
