The best methods of improving program performance are via employing compliance techniques on a periodic basis, according to the authors. Results of these audits can help security administrators to better measure the effectiveness of in-place security initiatives while also offering guidance for future enhancements, they say. In this article they present the key issues in an audit/compliance program and describe how a security audit can be applied. |
