We report a case in whom clinical entity of ataxic hemiparesis (AH) is associated with one and half syndrome. The later finding favours a lesion in the dorsal pons while a lesion in the ventral pons will cause AH. Computerised axial tomography (CT) showed a pontine infarction over right side. The patient recovered within two weeks of onset in spite of diffuse (ventral and dorsal) pontine involvement. |
