I am that girl
  who embraces
  her inner child
  the L-word
  emancipates my soul
  returns
  my dignity and integrity
i am that girl whose soul woke up
to the smell of earth after rain
claiming the L-word as my soulmate
  awakened to your beauty
  a girl like me
i am not the girl who wastes
  time and money on
  hair extensions and expensive
  beauty products
i prefer being in the hairstyle i
  went to bed with!
i am that girl who chooses
  food over fashion
  my care-free personality
  envied by many
  i know what i want
  when i want
  a girl like me!
i am that girl who does not
  take orders from boyfriends
i know exactly whom i want a girl like me!
i am that girl who is different from the
  female species
i give my love to whom i want
  when i want
  a girl like me!
  i am that girl
  who speaks her mind
  through writing!
  i am that girl
  living my own thoughts
  believing my own dreams
  i am that girl
  who embraces the L-word!
